  1. I think your completely on target Tim. About a two years ago I started noticing that Youtube was more useful than google for searching for information, self-education, and product research. It really is the difference of “tell me vs SHOW me”

I’d say that about 80% of my own personal net usage now is YT and following subs. I’d estimate that I’ve spent about $2,500 or so on products and services reviewed, demoed etc on YT including NLG in last 2 years.

Quick sidenote RockonGoodpeople is a GURU channel
Yes, this channel is primarily for guitar but if I want to share
any kind of info that I feel is informative I will
You do not have to watch the video and I clearly state in the title what the video is about “VIdeo Marketing”
    Rock on

Hey Good People, I watched sxephil before he broke loose
He found out that by using his humour or rants about hot news topics of the day and put those in his Video’s title and tags he gets amazing views per video

This really shows the power of KEY WORD marketing
now you have to have decent content to have people come back for example recent video title
Tila Tequila Chokes on… Shawne Merrimans hands?!
1 million views in less than 1 week do the math
There is a plan to success on Youtube
    Tim

  4. It is true that youtube has a lot of ‘spam’ videos, nevertheless those are targeted towards extremely specific audiences. Nevertheless if 90% of videos are ‘spam’ and you want to build a real audience like sxephil, then you have to understand that you are only ‘competing’ against only 10%. Plus people recognize quality. I am about to start my own vlog/music channel (this username is just for ‘spam’ videos hehe) soon. As time goes by I guess I’ll be able to really talk about this lol.

  5. Youtube is saturated with videos these days , so much content is uploaded , something like 24 hours of video a minute..Its so hard to establish a audience of ur own on here now..Plus 90% of videos are spam and rubbish with no purpose, I dunno how it will end up in another few years..The big channelsand people that get 60000 views every vid , they are making big bucks of youtube , sxephil is suppose to be making 200,000 dollars a year from his channel which is mind-blowing..Jealous anyone lol

  6. I have to agree with Supersucker… I’m 38… I use it for product research. It’s ESPECIALLY useful to hear how something SOUNDS. That is, I used it to decide upon a particular pickup that I was thinking of buying. I’ve already decided that I want a particular multi-effects pedal based upon youtube vids. I also use it to learn songs/parts of songs. It’s a great educational tool. Not so sure about marketing, unless you are in the business of SELLING those things that I’m interested in.

All youtube videos stop counting at 300 when we put them up
it might be a internal counter I don’t know
check the same video in 4 days you will see 4000 plus views
look at our videos in the past week then tell me the views
    Rock on

    You may make these videos..
But I still notice that your videos only get 300 hits the first day which is minimal
