This is an experiment in Viral Video marketing. I discovered this jewel of a video earlier in the evening. It was poorly marketed, so I quest what proper marketing will do to it. This upload is an experiment dissecting what it takes for a marketed video to go viral. Disclaimers: I do not own any content in this video. The music is not my own, nor is the editing. This is uploaded merely as an experiment. I am a staff member on the Gravel campaign. However, this video was uploaded independent of the campaign, by me as an individual. The Mike Gravel for President 2008 campaign has no knowledge of this video, and no campaign resources or time were used in its production.

I’m also doing some research for viral marketing for a class I’m in.
interesting idea to do this experiment! Are you just counting page views, or what?
The count isn’t very high. You may have better luck if you yourself made a faux commercial by parodying a popular one.

i agree about the trough of wall street… although still, compared to mccain he is the best thing since sliced bread.
much prefer gravel or kucinich or at least bringing 3rd party candidates to the table. this coke or pepsi democracy is starting to get a little obviously worthy of the founding fathers to start rolling over.

Email to countdown@msnbcDOTcom: More people see a mistake than its retraction. Please interview Mike Gravel on MSBNC. Alternatively, in the interest of fairness, you could also mistakenly announce that the other Democratic candidates have also withdrawn from the race. Then you could make a retraction the next day.
